The Loneliest Arcana

Yet another contest entry for . They're doing one for the three arcanas in the game that have been revealed so far. Even though I've drawn him already, I felt like I should do him for the contest too because I understand his character more than I do with World's. Plus I couldn't think of any ideas for Chariot. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up Dreamtalia on Youtube, it's really cool!

So......NOW FOR THE BACKSTORY!!!   I thought I should draw him in a situation where he's thinking about finally succeeding in following the Fauchereve's orders and is finally appreciated by not only him, but the other arcanas. For one minute, don't think about what would happen to Italy or to the nations trying to rescue him, but just the arcanas and what they've been through. For Hermit, he's had to give up his life just to serve the Fauchereve and to be noticed, to no longer be lonely. In the end, his own dream had ended by failing and being killed. Though, he was thanked and appreciated by the nations trying to save Italy, and died helping them.

I drew him as he looks as he was dying in the demo game (Even used the faceset at a reference to draw the cuts and bruises on his face.) I wanted to show him in the condition he was in right before his death, but his possible thoughts before the battle. It made me really sad to draw this and think about IF this had really happened!

Ok...I'm done now...I'm going to hide from all the people who are probably going to kill me for making Hermit go through this! Bye-bye
